Nothing New Challenge - July review

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are all keeping well. I come to you today with yet another update on my Nothing New Challenge.

In the month of July I bought:

  • Thunderpants whale leggings Well, these were new. Let me explain. I've owned these before and absolutely LOVED them. Under unfortunate circumstances they went lost. I've missed them since. I wear leggings a lot, especially with my newly discovered love for skirts (more on this later), so when Thunderpants launched their seasonal sales, I jumped on it and got myself a pair of beautiful, sustainably-made, comfy as hell whale & narwhal leggings. I’ve been wearing them almost every day since and regret nothing. (I'm afraid these particular leggings are currently unavailable on their website, but you can check other amazing Thunderpants products here.)

  • A couple of skirts I don’t know about you, but I hate pants. I have like one pair of jeans that I enjoy wearing – but if I can avoid it, I will. Dresses have been my go to for a long time, but recently I’ve been discovering skirts. I got myself maybe three or four off Depop and from op shops, and I’ve been loving them (especially with leggings underneath, now that it’s cold and miserable).

  • A van Fuck yeah! Before you shoot me down with your But I thought you had to save money kind reminder, well yes you’re right. Financially speaking, this might not have been the bestest of time to drop a few grands on a new vehicle. However! There is a reason behind Huachuma (that’s her name), which unfortunately I can’t disclose right now. But trust me, I thought about this for a long time and she came into my life for a very good reason. (Plus look how cute she is.)

I would like to apologise for the lack of interesting content on my blog lately. I have been reshaping my online presence and wondering whether this platform might not be the best place for me to express myself.

It’s not that I haven’t been creating, though! In fact, I have been producing HEAPS of content elsewhere, which is more engaging, thought-provoking, and less listy. So, if you are yearning for some more profound words from moi, you can check my Medium profile, sign up to my newsletter, and even become a Patron.

Thank you for your patience and support, and until next time!
